Beauxbatons StageCoach
HarbourFront Centre, where the Beauxbatons Stage Line is located, is the second station for the cable car system in Singapore. Being a bi-cable, detachable-grip gondola lift system, the operator at Mount Faber, the first station of this aerial ropeway, would outfit and release special cars to the line of exiting cable cars. A jewel cable car, already shaped like a carriage, would be refitted to look like a stagecoach, complete with pale-blue lacquered sides, wrought-iron headlamps and the golden Beauxbatons coat-of-arms embossed on its doors. Inside would be plush velvet seats and wood panelling.
In addition, the car would be re-balanced to allow for a mechanical steed to be attached to its front. Painted a brilliant gold, the horse would be light-weight and have kite-like wings with hinged spars hooked to a device that automatically set the wings to spread when about to take off, flap when flying and fold when landing.
As the carriage leaves Mount Faber and approaches HarbourFront, people on the Beauxbatons Stage Line platform would see a flying horse-drawn stagecoach head in their direction and land directly in front of them. After boarding the coach, it would exit the station and soar through the sky, giving its occupants a stunning aerial view as it approaches and lands at a tall pale blue tower. Anybody unable to collect their tailored uniform before the arrival of their coach would have their garments ready for collection at the tower.
Descending the tower by either climbing down the flight of golden spiral stairs or taking the golden elevator, passengers of the Beauxbatons StageCoach would shortly find themselves stepping out under the light-filtered canopy of the Forbidden Forest.
