Floo Network
Throwing a pinch of glittering Floo powder into a fireplace that is part of the network causes the pit to be bathed in a deep emerald colour. Stepping into the fireplace, people would stand with their backs pressed up against the circular wall of the fire pit.
When a suitable number of people enters the pit, the entrance closes to become a cylindrical chamber. The chamber starts to spin and at high speeds the floor drops away, leaving the people pressed against the wall by tremendous centripetal force. As the spinning slows, the floor rises until feet are planted firmly on it.
Disoriented from the spinning, the travelling over distance to another venue would go unnoticed by the people in the chamber. When the spinning stops and an opening in the chamber appears, the people within would stumble out of a fireplace in an entirely different location from where they started.
